Front man for Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver found dead on his tour bus. Just lost another great voice. RIP Scott.

I didn't know it until last night, but a guy I ride with now and then was a good friend if his. Tortured but talented.

Great singer, saw STP about 4 years ago, was a great concert that I will never forget.

He was scheduled to be here in Austin next week, obviously the show is cancelled.

he liked to party pretty hard, so they say. lot of people will automatically say "awwe, what a shame or waste, drugs killed him." Maybe so, but unless you were him, nobody has any idea of where they and he went because of them (while he was here of course,) the creativity maybe broadened from the use, or the guy, like others was high creative, that too could of drawn his interest in substances. Motorcycles do the same thing, to some people, only plans more ahead of time, say like a week. Ride next weekend. If you can't kick the habit of riding, force yourself to like it!

Pretty sad.   I knew he was a troubled man and news of his death was not a shocker to me.

I had hoped to see him in concert again...
