Cb 750 f2 78 cafe build

Hi thought I would post my build thread on here it's on a other site too .so apologize if you've read some of it before .don't really get much help from do the ton forum .but I'm on sohc in UK .get plenty of help on there so I hope it's same on here .I'm over a year into it now so I will just post some pictures bring you up to speed .bike when I got it

Engine was burning oil bad & leaking oil so got to stripping bike down

My plan was just to do engine tidy bike up put alloy seat unit on .job done so got one made .& loop fitted

But while I was at the place I was having seat made he had made a alloy petrol tank .which I liked the look of so decided to have one made .& front mud guard .

Also liked the idea of the break upgrade that a few people on here had done so kept my eye out on eBay  .finally found a set .had them powder coated

Had other parts powder coated and hydro dipped got a exhaust .

Got working on engine new valve guides fitted valves & seats recut head skimmed barrels horned new rings gaskets .

Got a oil filter adapter to do away with old oil filter I had a problem with crank case being broken .also fitted oil pump service kit .

I decided to have a alloy oil tank made .so had to relocate electrics under seat .different guy made oil tank .

Then decided to  dry build bike back up has I wanted to have rear sets .needed to find best position for them

Rear set  brackets made bolts shortened .titanium hardware .caps made for ends of bolts to match the bolts new bracket welded on frame for break fluid pot.Engine bracket drilled

Very true about the work going on it was a task getting the oil tank to fit mounts & extra tubes welded on frame for mounting points . Brackets .

Next I had a battery box made mounting points for fuse box and other electrics .

Some more  plastic caps are for covering access to nuts for fastening seat down
