Those shocks look like TEC, are they? How do you like them?

Stock of aftermarket, those shocks will have limited performance but will probably provide a decent ride for easy recreation riding.  This bike is not built for performance anyway.  If you want something with more performance capability and adjustability, IKON, Works, Race Tech, Fox and others are good options -- but they do not appear stock.

Hagon makes a good, stock looking, shock.

Totally agree on both points.  i have to go the cheap route :( due to lack of funds. I do have hagons on the 750.
still ride good at 9yrs old. I ride easy these days when I do ride. Been watching the TEC (brand) on ebay. They
claim in their description that their shocks are engineered specifically for the bike listed (cb550), with matched
damping and proper springs that are not overly stiff. Wondered if the ones from 4/1 are the same ones.
Sorry for the hijack...........Nice bike mr. Folsoe, Well done 8)

I neglected to mention Hagon.  I have them on my stockish CB550K, and they work perfectly fine.  They are not a performance-shock but they are an improvement over the stock and Progressive shocks.

Thanks for all the comments :)
The Shocks are no name shock , bought in France.  Seem to be good quality.  Chrome is perfect , and they fit Right on.  Havent really driven the bike yet , due to the Cold weather here in Denmark so must wait with really testing it.
but im working on two other similar cb 500 from 1975 as Well.  So time flyes :)
