Neither. Just cleaned.

It will not stay like that so paint is in order. Shame, I like it the way it is.

You could get it clear PC's and the PC worker would mask-off/plug the holes,it would definitely stay that way then.  8)

Why wait until morning? Done!

New seals, dust boots, new lower fork bolts, all copper washers replaced and new O rings on the top. Springs were in spec which is a good thing. NLA.

Onward....

I say black, paint it black.

Notice anything different? Yeah, you guys don't miss anything come to think of it.

Actually this project is just about done. Good, the heat is around the corner.

Ha! I wanted black but only come in chrome. Had some bonus bucks at Motorcycle Superstore. Cost me $15 for both.  ;)

Actually they are well made. EMGO brand, called cruiser style.

Is the red car new...or have I been asleep.  Once side of the tank is painted whereas the other side is not.
Gotta quit listening to the Stones when working in the shop (Paint it Black)...that subliminal message is getting through.
A black tank in AZ heat is nearly as bad as a black seat some days. (when commuting to work...at the end of a long day when temps are hovering around 100-110 you don't want to go near a black seat unless it was under a good cover.

You've been asleep. Bought late October. Tank was repaired, you missed that too.  ;D

Commuting? HA! Retired over three years. Homey don't play that.

You forgot one thing. I don't ride anywhere when it's hot unless in the car. I'm shut down from mid June until late September. Last year even October was hot. Cheated!

I won't even put fuel in the tank this year and will drain the Ducati. I can test run Suzzie using the IV then drain the bowls. From then on its cool summer cocktails and grilling yummy stuff. Lots of siesta time.

I knew you were retired...Just missed the red car. The white CBX went and Red Ducati came to live with you and you changed to a red car...
If the Suzuki stays then will your next car be Silver???
Yeah, I noticed the tank...just didn't mention it. Last photo you shared was of that side being fixed and it was still primer...no decals.
Did they just fix that side and repaint that side...is it a base clear or all in one shot urethane?

I asked a friend in Tucson why he and the wife weren't riding the wing one morning before church and he replied, We had to carry something today and it would not work on the bike. Curious I asked what. His reply, a car full of cold air.  It was 9:00 and already 85F and they had a 25 mile ride to get there and was going to be 105 or warmer on the way home.

No, don't care for Silver cars either. I was planning on a redesigned 2018 model Accord but read they won't offer the V6 after 2017. Going to a turbo four. So...looks like a possible 17 model. In Red. Get a lot of compliments on the color. Love it myself but more work keeping it clean than White. I wipe it down every morning.

Don't think there will be much difference in 17, will see. Want all the optional body moulding too. I'll order one instead of dealer stock. They don't tint the Windows dark enough. Need limo not this legal shid.

Notice how far down my front windshield strip goes? About three inches below the markings on the glass. Perfect.

Front caliper done. New seals, new boots. The piston seal was a PIA! Man, it took forever.  :o

Going to leave fluid out for now. Probably in the Fall before I ride it.

Could be! I bought a long barrel 44 magnum for the other half for her birthday a few years back. Keeps it in her night stand. Loaded. (naturally)

Be sure to knock before entering here.  ;)
