Cb 750 k2 fromt brake replacement
« on: April 03, 2016, 08:29:27 AM »
Im looking for a bolt on type of solution. Org. front brake is bit powerless.
Do i only need to change the disc or replace everything? Im not looking for a superbrakes just a bit of a emprovement.
A list of bikes with fitting parts would be nice.

A GL front end is your simplest "bolt on" improvement.  It has twin discs.

Is your bike that fast that you feel you need better brakes?

:D no its not. (Rebuilt from 900cc to 750cc) It just lags power. The brake i mean. Im gonna try new pads and new brake hose. If it makes no difference il change the disc.

Rebuilt from 900 to 750? You went the wrong way!

Highly doubt a disc change will improve your brake.  Do you have a good firm lever when braking?

Deglaze you disc a little bit while you do your other maintenance.

David silver has new front disc that is written to be better than the bad Honda disc. New pads too. If your master cylinder is bad, they have a good replacement for not that much.

I had to. I gave up trying to find parts for my Henry Abe 900cc kit. There is not. Not for my wallet anyway.
