Chopper with with a K3 engine
« on: May 26, 2016, 05:01:58 PM »
Meet this guy a Mel's Diner bike night in Auburn Ca, he was wondering how made the frame, not sure if it was home made of if a company made it. No markings and definitely a period piece, the chain gets adjusted by moving the engine, its on a pivot. There is a pic of the adjuster. He believes the bike was originally from No Calif, Sacramento. Kinda cool. Notice the Mustang and Indian in the background.

thanks, Mark

Looks to me...maybe... the peg mt/motor mt bolt is loosened, then the chain adjusting. Then retighten the motor mount and it should hold as good as an axle would.  Still, goofy. Trying to keep the hardware out of view I guess.
