So I cleaned all my connections ect and decided to give her a go, started her up and happened to glance down at my points (cover was off) and to my surprise/happiness i saw a #$%* ton of sparks from the 1-4 points! so i swapped the condensers and the problem followed! now i'm on a search for a few condesers! Dime city and 4into1 seem to be out any ideas?! Thanks everyone for the help! Hopefully this solves my issue. Its funnny/sad its the one thing I didn't check, I read somewhere they almost never go bad so i figured its probably good, also they look new.

Thankyou! Just ordered a set! Hopefully they get here quick, in the mean time I might try to find something local I can toss on em' or try to mount my extra cb350 condensers! Just to ride around town.

I realize you figured out the issue, but, to answer the question - the points were set too wide so they would not close - hence the problem.

When you look for condensers locally try either Auto Zone,Advance, etc. I bought a pr. of Duralast condensers meant for a vintage Chevy Biscayne and the boxes actually had a manufacturing date on them ? You won't have any problem using automotive condensers but just make sure they haven't been sitting on the shelf for more than 5 yrs.
Fresh is best.  :)

@Gene That makes sense, thank you! That was bothering me, also you where spot on with the condensers! Thanks

@grcamna2 Awesome, Thankyou. Looks like these will fit (judging by the pic) and hopefully will last till the set I ordered arrives.

Just so you know, the condensers you bought are Daiichi brand. Strange because the copy says "TEC type" but the picture shows Daiichi.

Anyway, Daiichi are known not to last. The best are TEC or Nippon Denso. So hopefully this solves you problem but if you have another issue in a month or so, do not rule out the new condenser.

I was reading through this thread a little and you went from a leaking carb to ignition issues. Are you good after this fix?

@davebarbier yea, Thats what I've been reading. Hopefully I can find some decent ones soon. I knew their points had issues but I figured condensers would be simpler to make (no spacing issues) but oh well. Yea, should be good. The leaking carb was just a mistake on my part haha, I cleaned them hoping it would solve the "lack of power" issue I was having (I knew #1 wasn't hitting but totally over looked #4 maybe I'm just to used to twins) haha Thank you everyone for the help! I'm headed to advanced auto to pick up some condensers and I'll report back!
