Well Kev DIDN'T get the call, too bad, Ayoyama suffered at race pace. Now I'm pleased that Honda gave the nod to Nicky Hayden.
I've always liked this guy from way back when he first arrived on the AMA superbike scene. He's just a good character, left Honda without burning bridges and now has been invited to pilot a really good motorcycle.
He won't be on any pace with the front runners, but just the seamless gearbox alone is something Nicky didn't have on the Honda GP bike he rode previously. It'll be tough, but I hope he finishes well and he leaves with a smile on his face.
