My brother in-law and his wife always participate in Black Friday shopping and have been known to arrive very early in order to get what they want, he says from time to time they do have to deal with an a..hole or 2 but for the most part he's never had to deal with customers crushing each other trying to get in the door or tackling each other in the aisles. I'm all for saving money and getting a good deal, I'm just not willing to stand outside on a cold November morning to do it.
Yeah, I have heard of deals too. I can only go by what I have heard, about how it gets, while shopping during that time. And, like you, I don't see myself getting up and getting out there, as early as you would need to. My Dad had always gone Christmas Shopping, really late (or close to Christmas Day) and when I was in High School, I started going with him, kinda like he was passing his tradition on to me, so anyway it as never anything like what I had heard about Black Friday, but we did have to get out kind of early, but not THAT early.
