« on: April 05, 2017, 03:24:29 PM »
When removing forks does the bike need to be suspended or held up ? Also any tips or tricks? Never done this one so just looking for a little help.

Yes, suspended or jacked up at the front. Loosen the fork caps and the allen bolts under the axle clamps(after removing the front wheel) as these can be difficult to budge on loose forks!

I'm a fan of jack stands on the frame rails.

With the wheel and brake removed the forks slide down and out the trees.

Have rafters above your bike? Get ratchet straps and suspend the front...that's another idea.
