Just a reminder that registration is now open for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride to raise money for men's health and prostate cancer research.  Rides will be taking place all over the world.  I am helping with the Los Angeles ride.

If you are not riding and want to donate, please feel free to support my fundraising effort:

If we can form a success team and donate to each other, that would be great!

https://www.gentlemansride.com/fundraiser/NathanAckley

There is officially an Olympia ride for the northwest riders!  We're taking this cause to the Capitol!

I did Chicago for the 2nd year. 600+ bikes this year. The ride was #2 in the US and #9 in the world for total funds raised.

Heck yeah, plenty of room! Except none of my tools are there.
I'm coming out to LA for the ride next year. Was planning on it this year,  but I had to leave today on a quick vacation my wife booked months ago.

I bet a group of 8 was a _____-ton easier to manage than LA's over 1000.  We managed to keep it together pretty well, but having a group of 8 would open up the ability to make a longer faster-paced ride.

It all fell into place like clockwork.

Has dgr hq got any pics from hawaii?  They had a ride too didn't they?

When I retrieved my bike from Moto Guild Chicago to head over to the ride I was talking to the owner Tony about it. He is thinking that for 2018 he is going to put together a weekend trip for a group to head up to Milwaukee to do a smaller ride. Rides like Chicago and LA can be a pain, not just because of shear size, but because of the traffic that goes with these cities.

If he actually does it I think I am going to go that route next year.

Thats part of the reason Demon Queen and I put together DGROly.

Even a small group managed to turn heads and garner attention to the cause.
