The nicest 35 mm trees for our bikes.
« on: February 03, 2018, 09:30:43 PM »
Saw these last night, they are one of the nicest trees I have seen for 35 mm. Like Ceriani GP.
But.. except..
These are11 mm wider...meaning you can run a wide rim and big brakes .
I did manage  to mount a 6 piston caliper  and big floater on a set of GP,s, but its tricky.. won't work with most components

I just ran across these. Gorgeous and I like the wider option.
All you gotta do is do what you gotta do.

That would seemingly avail you of more brake caliper options.  For instance, AP Classic line calipers are too wide and interfere with wheel spokes (without milling off material on the inner surface).  This would require some spacers, as well, for brake rotors but probably more options for different calipers and rotors.

The key turning point to me getting the 6 piston caliper to work.
It was the discovery  that the Yamaha mag had the clearance that I needed. An 18minch front mag, not sure if that mattered. Stock spoke wheels, Morris mags are all thicker in the affected area. Fwiw.

Clip-on ape hangers only  ;D
If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical problem... If it's an electrical problem, it's Cal's problem.
