I have a cat. She's actually my wife's cat, but seems to be more mine. Her name is Anka. She's got a Russian passport and papers.

i'm sorry, that cats name should possibly be scrotum

i do love cats by the way but i quite like the furrier ones, the missus and i have had 8 (plus fosters) in our time together and i've grown to like the long hairs ( if only cos it pisses the missus off having hairballs floating round the house all the time)
i blame Terry

Cats are wonderful animals, very selective about who they like and who they ignore. We've got 3 here at the moment and they've got 3 very different personalities, the only thing they seem to have in common is that they are perpetually hungry.

My big fat black baastard, Felix is currently having great success murdering rats overnight and leaving their headless corpses in our patio for my wife to find, Emily, our Mainecoon cross is a big girl who protects Felix from other males, and Leo, our Abyssinian cross kitten spends most of his time annoying them, and breaking things. I wouldn't swap any of them for Sandcast #1. ;D

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

The cat kinda chose me, she was originally my sister's but she came over one holiday and refused to go back, it's been about 8 years since:

Yep, they love killing serpents Dave, my poor old Chopper was a big tough bugger but he dropped dead when he was only 3, and we reckon he got bitten by a snake, but I'll bet he killed more of those evil fcukers. If only I'd known, I would have loaned him my old side by side hammer gun........... ;D

Oh yeah my tom cat Ollie was deadly on snakes He'd spot one whip over to it and do a little dance, snake would strike and smack just down from the back of the head, then jump on it bite, dead snake, no fuss no muss, totally professional. I'd seen other cats go after snakes and they would play with the snake until it was tired, then kill it, not Ollie, snakes were for disposing of not playing with, we speculated because he was Feral, snakes may have gotten into the litter. my only #$%* was I'd have to clean up the remains.
Bill the demon.

Back in 1981, we adopted a barn kitten, he was a gold tabby, and we named him Beauregard, and he was a good cat... We had a blonde Chow Chow named Natasha and I had a pet squirrel I found at 1/2 day old, blew out of his nest... I had the squirrel for 1 1/2 years, and turned him loose, but I have a picture of all three somewhere, sitting on the couch together. They all got along passably, once the cat figured the squirrel was family, and too fast for him lol...
Beauregard liked to go out and find trouble with other animals bigger than him, and he came home a couple times pretty tore up. Then one day, after he was about 4 years old, he didn't come home... we figure he got killed by the bigger animal he found. We missed him.

even a small brown snake will kill a horse, they are an aggressive and fast snake,as soon as they hatch they have the same potency as their parents, dont #$%* with brown snakes just kill em!we have what we call "king browns" here, they are old snakes about 15/20years old and are huge, you got about 45 minutes to get help with an aussie brown snake bite no matter the size.

Have plastic curtains separating the back half of the shop from where all my machine tools are. They're terrified of the curtains for some reason. Will come up, paw them, and run away.

They've found themselves a good hiding place under a row of 305 Dreams they seem to be quite fond of.
