Topic: electric start on 77 CB550

Hello all. I've got a 77 CB550 that has an electric starter that has not yet been hooked up.
There is no control for an electric start on the bike. What a  i not getting or what do i need to add in order to use the electric start?
I can't post pictures yet, but i will as soon as I'm able.

That is exactly the advice i was looking for. Thank you.
My bike does not have a start button on the right grip, though. Presumably someone replaced bits and pieces over the years and that was lost.

you need a good battery..atleast 8ah but better 12 ah..most cafees dont have that..if they have run kicked

 I'll take a look at the battery, but before i can get anything working I'll have to get a starter solenoid. It seems someone thought they were better off without it.
