George, I have one that was fitted to my race bike. I took it out for a ride day just to do a couple of laps, bed new rings in etc. Unfortunately, when I went to drop the oil, I found a small piece of metal resulting in a decision to strip the engine. As it turns out, the (new) primary chain tensioner had collapsed (after market Teflon, but prefer not to go there as I have a high regard for the organisation). When I put the engine back together, I had a spare metal gear type tensioner and, for no particular reason, decided to use that tensioner (maybe I was not 100 percent sure in my mind about the design). So, if you get stuck, I have a virtually new messnermoto tensioner, including the correct cam chain I could send you. As you know, Iam in Oz. Paul.
