Budget coil options
« on: May 05, 2018, 02:41:48 PM »
The coils on my 75 are getting kinda sad with all the cracks so I think it's about time to change them.  I want coils with replaceable wires but all that I am finding that isn't used stock coils or way out of my current price range are for the dohc meaning that they are 3 ohm coils.  I have heard that they can be run on a points system but that I need to do some other wireing magic to make it work.  Has any body found cheap 5 ohm coils or used the 3 ohm?

Could just splice in new wires if the coils are still good or just buck up for some Dyna coils
