Hey Dukie, I'm just catchin' up. I'm sorry to hear that you cracked up. I hope you heal up quick.

And thanks for the advice about morphine on an empty stomach. I was kinda thinkin' that mebbe it worked the other way around. While I was working in the E.R., I had to help (as in pull as hard as I could) to get this old gent's shoulder un-dis-located. The doc gave him a good dose of something that pretty well put him out. Unfortunately, it also made him hork. But here's the thing. He horked pretty much an entire can of corn, and nothing else except for, wait for it, a whole toothpick.

Pirates?  Spaghetti? Whaaa?

    The central belief is that an invisible and undetectable Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe. Pirates are revered as the original Pastafarians.
    Pastafarians in an effort to illustrate that correlation does not imply causation presented the argument that global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters are a direct effect of the shrinking numbers of pirates since the 1800s.  As the number of pirates decreased, global temperatures increased. This mocks the suggestion from some religious groups that the high numbers of disasters, famines and wars in the world is due to the lack of respect and worship towards their god.  The growing pirate activities in the Gulf of Aden supports this theory by pointing out that Somalia has the highest number of Pirates AND the lowest carbon emissions of any country.

I have given it some thought.  I have a few boats and a scurvy crew to chose from but I am not keen on the puffy shirts.
