Can't say about "That darned book" but I liked Dean Jones and his cute brunette girlfriend in Disney's "That darned cat" . She is probably not cute anymore being about 65-75 now...yikes!

Hmm. That Darn Cat had blondes. Hayley Mills and Dorothy Provine. Sure you're not thinking of Dean Jones and Michele Lee in Love Bug? Michele has kept herself pretty well btw. Not bad for 61.

Anyway, the MAD Magazine master index site has gone away and I can't find the Burma Shave parody article damit damit damit.

I love fancy hotels. The company I worked for until recently, sent me interstate about 10 times in one year, and each time I stayed at the Hilton.

Because the "Ashes" series cricket match between Australia and England was on at the time, I spent a lot of time in my room, so I ordered "room service" rather than eating in one of the hotel's restaurants.

The "Hilton Burger" is about the best hamburger I've ever eaten! (man, I miss that place...............)  :D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

I don't know what they've told you down at the USO, but you're going to be meeting a lot of strange men. Men in uniform. Boys a long way from home, lonely, desperate. They really have one thing on their minds. Show 'em a good time.

Well, my first car was actually my dad's '65 Mustang 2+2. The first car I "owned" was a '69 Torino GT. I still had it 17 years later until I moved. Man I miss that car. Here she is going bye-bye.  :'(
