UJM 18" front wheel
« on: January 06, 2019, 11:34:32 PM »
Lately I'm seeing a number of 70's CBs and XSs running 18" rims front and rear, replacing the stock 19" front wheel.  Plenty of threads refer to handling issues when moving away from the skinny stock tire sizes, so I'm looking for any experience with a  smaller rim and more rubber.  Great look, but safety has to come first.

18" wheels (front and rear) are fairly common for vintage racing.  There's a good selection of performance tires available, too.
