What model Honda is this tank off of?

I bought this on ebay thinking I could adapt it for my CB500K (nope). It was advertised as being from a CB360T, but I have been told it is off of a CB750. Anyone have an idea from these pics?

Looks like a 350 tank.
My CL350 looks very similar

The CB360 always had the filler in the middle of the tank, same for the 750. The early 500's also had the filler offset to the side, not familliar with the 350...

The only tank I've seen with those graphics is the CB500. Sure looks like mine right down to the petcock port. What part of tank does not fit right on your 500?

I stand corrected.  petcock port is on the wrong side for a 350.

It was awhile back when I was trying to get a better tank for the project, and now I can't even remember what the main problem was. And now I have located a much better candidate, so this one is gone.

It sure looks like a 500 or 550 tank.  Hell it looks like a '74 550 tank in Boss Maroon Metallic.  Were the 500s ever offered in Boss Maroon?

Looks alot like a 500.  It is similar to the 500 on the Clymers manual cover for the 350-550 form 71-78,  but it's maybe a 74 or 75.

The only ones with that paint scheme were the 500 and the `74 550.

looks like my 72 500 tank(similar) but it has a 74 500 paint scheme
