Rear Brake Light
« on: March 27, 2019, 10:15:42 am »
Hi Cal  ;D

Quick question, with a 3 wire (ground, running, brake on) rear brake light, is the M-unit smart enough to know to turn on the rear running light when the headlight is on?  Or do i need to run the headlight wire to the running wire in the light?  I guess i could also run it to the aux out, so that when the bike is on it is on...

Ps- First!

Easier still is to use the 1-wire configuration where you run either BRAKE or TAIL wire from the BRAKE output. The MU will toggle the function of the bulb when the brake is pressed/pulled, while keeping the TAIL always on.

It’s in the SETUP section of the manual  ;)

Or, you can run TAIL from AUX.

The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Thanks Cal.  I read that thing over a year ago and I guess I didn't retain much.   Time pull it back out and blow the dust off again ..... :-X
