Right side motor bolt off? Engine?
« on: July 02, 2019, 05:26:00 PM »
I'm trying to install this motor. I got all the bolts in but this part here isn't looking right. Is this off? All the other bolts are in and lined up. So do I just put a bolt in that rod? The battery wire would go to the left then. I just feel like something isn't right here. Getting frustrated. The manual book I have here isn't showing clear pictures of the bolts areas. I just find the manual to be good for technical stuff I just wish it had better pictures....now I'm on here asking questions left and right. :/
Can someone tell me what is going on here?

I think you are missing a sreel mounting plate
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

This should help with how that bracket goes.

I'm trying to find this on eBay. It's bringing up car parts. What would be a better way of typing in search for that part??

It looks to me that you already have this part in the picture but it’s installed incorrectly or incompletely.
