Chain oiler is not closed?
All covers can leak, oil filter cover ab
Nd neutral switch included.

YOU have to look from where the oil cone from.

This one might be an overactive chain oiler, or just chain lube a little overdone? You can adjust the screw in the center of the countersprocket inward by a turn or so to see if it settles that down a little bit.

The valve cover: check to make sure the cover's screws are tight on that left side. If the gasket is leaking (it's 50 years old now!) it may need replacing. Not simple, though: engine has to come out for that one. :(
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

That will be easier with a quality gasket as Honda original. Cheaper aftermarket has bad fitment, especially front close to cam chain between plug 2-3. Gasket has wrong shape colliding with cam holder near plug 2. Also bad hole fitment in general, like the flat area above chain tensioner adjuster.

Honda original hurts more when order, a good friend when assemble.
All side cover gaskets use Honda that fits, cheap will miss 1-2 holes, possible to ruin the gasket when assemble the M6 screws that crash the gasket when tighten. Good gasket can be reused again if lifting cover.

It's hard to say if the headgasket is actually leaking. On my 78K, I had oil pouring out between the 2-3 plugs and running down the front of the cylinder.  For me it was the rubber pucks under the cam towers that needed replace.   I did have to pull the motor to replace the pucks and cleaned the motor.   I did not replace the head gasket tho.   First couple of rides, I still had some oil creeping out but clean it when I see it and it is becoming less and less.  In my case I didn't want to pull the top end as I needed to resist taking it apart and modifying it.  :D

Check valve cover breather hose  for a crack..

Tank off inspected with a good vantage point ....Hose is good from breather,,,, no signs of cracking off oil tank and return hoses all look great.

Thinking it’s high speed = greater oil pressure and oil finding the weakest gasket to spray from?

per the last picture above.... :o

It should be easier to tighten the head. Engine out if no frame kit.
Cover off,  rockers, cam, cam holders. Now possible to tighten head nuts.
Back in the days only tighten once. Not tighten, wait 24 hours and  tighten again.

Big difference and less leaks.

Good reason to install Frank's weldless frame kit! :)

alrighty!!! I will live and let live with this minor inconvenience! Only old timey 10-40 for this lunk!

A drip here a drip there,,, here a drip there a drip ——-everywhere a drip-drip!  :D
Ol’ McSalle had a 750 e-I-e-I ohhhhhh!!!

Thanks for all the the advice!!!! As long as I’m not hurtin anything!

I do burn a 1/4 qt bout every 500 miles, and the oil goes black pretty quick,,,, but I do ride her hard and in NYC traffic conditions!!! Put on about 10,000 miles in 18 months with trips upstate and to Jersey to see my cousins in ‘waste management’....  8)

10-40 for a CB750?
Too thin, 20/15/10W-50 is recommended. Unless you will ride the bike in a cold climate seldom over 15C.

I'd add a frame kit (allows engine work without pulling engine), pull the top end during winter, and have it ready for spring?

Agreed, seems like all my vintage hondas get a little weepy around the head gasket.  Just watch your oil level and you will learn how much you may need to top it off.  Unless it's extreme I would just let it be.
