At a standstill right now. My painter needed to rebuild the carb set up on his 1955 sedan delivery. All the parts for paint are in his basement. I have to be patient, he's a good friend and painter. I'm also working on a 1965 Benley which he will paint bright red for me.

I bought my first K1 new in September 1971, foolishly sold in the mid 80's and managed to buy it back. I built the second one about 10 years ago.

Still waiting for paint to be done. it's hard to tell a friend who is not charging me "Come on! Get with it!"
Starting a new project, a 1977 CB750F which will need painting too. Gloss black or Candy Presto Red?

A long time coming but the K0 is on the lift waiting for the installation of the recently painted candy blue green bodywork. The build was put on hold while I did a 1977 CB750F in gloss black and a 1967 Honda CB77 Street Scrambler in Honda Cloud Silver.
I'm about to order an exhaust system for the K0 from David Silver Spares.
Photos when it's "completed".

Getting the blue back on. And just broke the budget and ordered an exhaust system from David Silver Spares thanks to the good reports posted about them. The gas tank will go on today today.

Cliff did your painter seal the neck of the fuel opening with an epoxy to prevent fuel vapors from degrading the paint and getting underneath the paint. Seen pics of a few paint jobs ruined where the fuel got under the paint and clear coat and bubbled the paint badly around the neck.

Yes, he used some black POR-15. I used POR-15 to seal the tank. Cliff.

Gluten for punishment tackling a CA77/78...no that's a dream . So, it is a CB77? Parts are notorious for being a challenge to source correct parts that fit the CA77/78...is that also true for the Super Hawk?

The one I have is fairly complete but as usual, I need an exhaust system which after market ones are available. I just finished a 1967 CL77 which was quite complete and correct too.

just finished a short while ago
Parts seem to be plentiful and there is a good network of owners too.
The CB77 was my first bike, the CL77 my second. Lots of memories here.

I have applied for a Collector plate for cheaper insurance. We have a multi vehicle plate here so soon as the approval arrives I'll take it out for a ride. Right now it will a cherished member of the herd.
It took me 2 years of negotiation to get a motor on a stand into the rec. room.
