You guys are awesome. It's 6" deep in blowing snow and -0F here so the photo ride along with Terry was a pleasure and I loved Bears ride story more than I can tell.  If I won the lotto I'd load a 750 on a plane and show up down under for a ride.

Well if you do Don, I'll be happy to take you on some great rides, that will have to include some eating and some drinking (responsibly, of course....) ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Postpone that lotto win till the end of the year Don and I'll be ready to go.
Don't worry about flying the bike out. Uncle Tez has hundreds of them.  ;D

Thanks for your kind thoughts, Terry! ;)
I have no red bike for them.
My size is 42 (eu).
I'm looking for Alpinestars WEB 2 GTX. But for a good price like 150-175 Euro.
Some sellers still sell it as a new model. Same talk as when I ordered mine late 2014.

No worries Per, the Alpinestars are good quality boots, for sure. I'm quite happy with my Redwings, they should last me another 20 years, or so? ;D

Terry..... Curious, how many bolts holding your tail light to the rear fender? Any extra rear fenders with only two tail light mounting bolts?

G'Day John, the NOS OEM rear fender I bought for it has 3 holes in a triangle pattern but only the two bottom ones have a welded nut on the inside. there's also a hole in the middle for the wiring. Interestingly, I've got a K0 police rear fender here, which has only two holes, plus the hole for the wiring, but I'm not sure that the standard tail light bracket would fit? ;D

Same type of fender I bought for my European K6 but my K2 got.
Ordered as K1 part from DSS
I have after that bought another one while still available as NOS Honda from CCC Germany.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB-750-four-k0-k6-Mudguards-Rear-Original-Chrome-Rear-Fender-Mud-Guard-/401571796827?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292

Many sellers have the Vietnam copy for slightly less money.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB750-1969-Early-Sandcast-Rear-Fender-CB750-Four-K0-K1-Mud-Guards-/113858912496?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292

Europe had K1 style on rear light and all blinkers on K2 and next model K6.
My K6 rear fender had several oval holes around the end for rubber mudflap. Impossible to find anywhere. I found NOS mudflaps, but no fender.

I remember now that I have seen a restored CB750 K2 with rechromed stock fenders and rims, the older with DID close the valve stem.
Bike was extry shiny and looked really fine.  All alu polished and clear coated.
A better than new restoration.

I understood that the chrome was done recently at a nearby chome shop. All bolts and nuts got the right treatment too as spokes and yellow nipples.

It depends on what you want, pure stock look or a better looking stock bike. I would not mind ;D

I'm not big on "Over Restored" bikes Per, I like them as they came out of the factory, warts and all. I actually prefer original "survivors" to restored bikes, but over here there's no hope of finding one sitting in a barn unmolested like in the US, so most need to be restored. As long as the bike is ridden, and not just trailered to shows, then that's fine with me.

Melbourne is in lockdown (again....) until Thursday, so I couldn't take the K0 for it's pie run on Saturday. I think I'll take Thursday or Friday off work and take it for a ride, I'm hanging out for a pie! ;D

Thanks Bill, I've got some frozen pies in my freezer, but they're not as nice as the ones at the Heathcote Bakery. I think the pie isn't as important as the ride, just the treat I enjoy at the ride's halfway mark. I'm baking a loaf of bread as I type this, so looking forward to a nice sandwich and a Ginger Joe in a couple of hours time. ;D

I seem to find find the barn bikes with the 70's gummy enamel paint. You nearly have to scrape it off and there's always bondo where the emblems go. One guy did that, then tried to find the holes with a drill bit, drilled the tank and bondo'd over the hole. The paint had bubbled off and the bondo underneath was black.  I managed to tig braze the pinhole and it's nice now.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
