I just want to let you all know that JT Marks passed away.  His daughter replied to an order request with the news.

Well that's upsetting. I never met him in person but feel like we had a connection. A loss to his family, friends and  the sohc community.

My thoughts exactly.  He was a stand-up guy and a pleasure to do business with.  His daughter said the business might be up and running again in a couple of months, but there's no telling if that will happen.

I asked about a water pump and the related seals for my gl1000, he went to his local Honda shop, figured out what was usually needed, and got them to me.

Way too early at only 67! :(
20 years more is not too much.

Continue the work to support us with important parts some years more and make sure another enthusiast continue.

I'm sure this kind of business is in need of really interested enthusiasts that love to bring old bikes back on the streets.
Not only as a job earning money for living.

I often think that good people often pass away too early when there are other bad ones that lives on....

It's possible that nobody has his account info so they can disable it.  I imagine there will be some unhappy customers.  That makes me sad for him and them.  Should I at least email his daughter to let her know?

UPDATE:  His eBay store is closed until August 3rd and all his auctions were ended.  It looks like someone is managing his account.

Maybe they will sell everything in stock to DSS, CMSNL or Yamiya if the family was not working at the shop too?
