Nah, thats not what it means, but he asked me to keep it under wraps.

Yep, makes no difference now anyway.
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

I did not know he was in the hospital since last week Oct 5th. Posts in BC Classic Motorcycle explains his recovery.              https://www.bcclassicmotorcycleclub.com/simplemachines/index.php?topic=8685.0        The Instagram site is “effneffbros”. ( 754's life long buddy posted some info on his accident).

I hope weather will allow me another ride to write about in Franks ride threads that can go on as long as we can ride.

Thanks to him and the fact he discussed and started to produce the easy add-on frame kits I can restore/service/rebuild my bikes much easier.
One of my bikes has the frame kit off, will go on next week and need a ride.

I read the link above. Bicycle accident with head injury.

Time to use my helmet when bicycling. Ironic to get fataly hurt on a bicycle after all motorcycle rides where the fatal accident often is very near.

Frank stayed the night with us when we came back from the Delores River gathering.  Couldn't talk him into sleeping in one of the beds, he slept on the floor in one of the bedrooms.  I had to talk him into that, he said he would sleep out on the lawn as he didn't want to impose.  We had a good time as I showed him the shop, the flathead V8s, superchargers, jeeps, Crown Vics  and all the other junk I have around here.  He was hip to it all.  We tinkered with his 750 before he left, as it always needed some tinkering.  He rode the heck out of that thing.  It looked like it wouldn't make it a mile, but it carried him thousands of miles in heat and cold.  I think it was due to his force of will as much as it was due to it being a CB750.  We had many interchanges over the years and I always appreciated his point of view.  He was old school in all the best meaning of that term.  Rest in peace Frank, thoughts of you will always make me smile.

ironic after all the miles he put on a 750 that it would be a pedal bike that took him away

What a shock! My condolances to his family and friends. I liked Frank a lot even though I didn't get to visit him much. Years ago, when things were a bit tough for him, he did me a huge favour by picking up a small Honda twin and storing it for me so I could run up from Victoria to get it from him. I knew then he was a great guy. Very sad. Cliff.

Ha! The exhaust is for a turbo; I don't recall his reason for using it? Maybe because he happened to have it and it was the best option at the time?

Scottly  I took that picture of 754, he was watering the lemon tree ( A little humor from The World Fastest Indian). Were heading back to Canada from Bonneville in 2007 after watching Roger Goldammer. The hole trip was a great memory with 754. I am ever thankful he talked me in to going to Bonneville.

Oh  I really do not think I got that weber manifold for my 60 pan (1080, did you end up with a Weber Harley manifold by chance?) You will have to refresh my memory on that one..
