I need help please ,I found this bike with my age  and I bought like  genuinely. Can someone please tell me and identify the frame and the engine of this bike?
The engine number is CB750GE100783x and the frame number is CB750G100236x .
It seems that this engine is not from this bike !
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Engine and frame numbers rarely match as they were built in seperate factories. What coutry are you from as numbers vary with delivery country

Another thing is if it has done about 20,000 miles you can be 95% certain the exhaust valve guides are worn out

GE = General Export I believe. 1977 CB750F2 probably. A mishmash of all years of F. 75 to 78. Europe did not get a 75 or a 78. You can probably find it here: https://www.cmsnl.com
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Those were the numbers found on UK F2 bikes, all oures were the same model no difference 77 to 78, some didnt sell til 79

Hi all happy new year.
This bike came from France,
after check various engines numbers from  78 this engine seems that from 78.
The frame has a low number that way it confirm that from first production from 77.
Anyone have one list from honda to compare the engines production from each  year?
I bought this bike genuine but it's  strange that this engine has 5000 units difference  from frame.

We got F2 to Sweden as 1978 model if I remember correctly.

My K6 engine number is 189967 later then frame number.

the first pic is from the American Honda guide...not much help. 1977-1978. No blue tank for the U.S.
According to CMS, the export to France was designated by the model "F2" ...after 1976....there was no '77 or '78 year designation.....Seems to be a common thread in europe concerning what "model" you guys have...So the "year" may be irrelevant in your case....
as stated previously ......
I don't think there is a European Honda motorcycle guide like the U.S. has.....so engine/frame  numbers may be hard to place for model identification.....

The american bikes have a "black"  end cap on its muffler.....so I don't know if your muffler is Honda or not....can't read the inscription on yours.....
France F2 models had a blue tank....."pb" in the tank part #....your tank decal does match the american 1978 model....as does your side cover....

looks like a nice find ...

The registration here could differ vs bike's year of manufacturing.
So bikes we got as 1978 could have been made 1977.

My K6 registrated as model year 1977 was produced and imported fall 1976.

Actually,  it was the 1976 model year Honda started putting the model year on the vin tags.
My K5 CB750 didn't have the model year on it and it is titled as a 1974 because of the 1st sale of it in late 1974 from the dealer in New Hampshire. The vin numbers, big turn signals and Planet Blue color tell it is a 1975.

yep...I've never seen an american honda, 1974 or 1975  model with a model year frame tag....which is why those years can still be "mis-titled"...
But the model year policy was implemented in 1974....actually adopted in 1973
not my opinion, just a messenger....

my 1975 honda 550 F has a frame date of 12/74.....it's titled as a '75, which is correct....but back in the day I could see it being titled as a 1974......or even today...Pa. DMV wouldn't know one way or the other...

The first bikes of a year would have to be built the previous year in order to be on the showroom floor in January, uless you can deliver by tardis!

Bikes as cars got next years model in registration here, owners did not mind.
Their vehicle suddenly became 1 year newer. ;)
I guess Q3-4 imports got next year.
Spare parts another thing. Serial numbers a must as reference.

My both K2's are model year 1975, the year retards ruled at our vehicle registration.
Model is called CB750 F K2. F as in Four.
It is only 1975 they did that here.  I have seen others when searching.

My K6 has not a manually added F.

researching American Hondas' release dates prior to 1974 shows they could be all over the place....and the same "model" could be produced for years...therefore the question of what year  is my bike.....answer- whatever the dealer titled it as...
 
specifically? concerning my '75 ....The only official documentation I've ever found as to its "release" date is a honda brochure stating an anticipated date of May 1975.....

and...as discussed on here before....the American '75 750F seems to have only been "made" for 2-3 months ...Feb.-Apr., 1975 ? then the '76 was "released"........(look it up on here)...

honda did crazy stuff like that.......
