Put a new battery in the K3 today. Little trick to stop the terminal nut from falling out and disappearing? 1/2 an earplug, stuffed under the nut…..

I've always used a little piece of rubber tubing under the nut. Very frustrating losing one 'in there' and also keeps it lined up nicely.

Used to be the bolts were sized to pick up the nut and not punch a hole in the battery either.

I've been using (the same)pieces of transparant tubing that came with a battery for at least 2 decades
