Another Dual Brake Conversion Question

Hello all,

I'm going to make this real quick, as I probably missed the answer during my searches.

Is there a left side/right side brake caliper mount bracket?

Which bike? The K0-K2 750s needed different brackets for the right and left sides, but the K3-K7 brackets fit either side.

It uses the same bracket BUT spacing/filing may be requiredon the mounting points to get the caliper in line with the disc, some do some dont.
Speedo drive plate can be adapted, check the many other posts.
Cheapest way to get caliper, bracket and pads is from mmatti on amazon
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

You also need the other pipe and longer bolts for the disc

 Actually, the 550 brake caliper brackets angle down for the smaller 550 rotor, they appear to be the same except for the angle. They are also reversable like the 750's.

It is a 550 and some do need a small amount of work depending on if Honda finish machine the slider, like i said some do some dont
