As I live in Thailand and shipping is only $3 via EMS seller offered me a good discount.

Here in the states we can get new mirrors from South Sound Honda in Washington state for $27.30 each plus shipping.

That sounds like a very good deal.  IMO actually inexpensive for high quality chrome mirrors.  I work with  a shipping consolidation and forwarding service in the USA so I can buy anything in the US and ship to me in Thailand. Excellent service and they repack into smaller, lighter packages to save on volume and weight.    The shipping company uses FEDEX and the prices are reasonable but anything heavy can quickly get  expensive.  Thailand also has very high import/custom duties on motorcycle parts so I need to be VERY careful.

Honda CB750 was delivered today. Bike will be needing a lot of work before it is ready for the road.  Thank You Gentlemen for your advice and guidance.  A new journey begins and I am thrilled.

What a beauty! I have never had a CB750, but that would be just the type I'd love to own, congratulations!

Is the bike color Candy Gold or Flake Sunrise??  I believe the bike has been repainted but I'm not exactly sure.

In the full sun it looks like metallic pale gold and in low level light looks like a honey amber color?

The factory color for the K1 is Candy Gold.
It is hard to know from digital pictures what your paint is from the different cameras in phones that show different hues in different lighting, sun fading with age, and add to the changes your eye picks up in different lighting that you have noticed of your bike colors.

A good friend pointed this out today and we are both at a total loss to explain what this is?   A small medallion container attached by what looks like a cotter pin.  Not attached to any cables or wiring.  Completely Baffled?

That is a candy gold color. The 550F shown is sunrise metalflake orange. Candy gold was a U.S. color through the K2. Plus, the Orange" used on a 750 was never with that style of tank decal/stripe.
Since it appears your bike is a JDM, the color may be correct .

Thank You for the color comparison - the bike is definitely Candy Gold then and not Sunrise Metalflake Orange. I really like all the CB colors - red, blue/green, gold, orange, brown, green, blue, and black.    Classic 1970's  Colors.

not to hijack a thread ( but I am😁)
Vintage hondas, especially 70's, had beautiful candies, flakes, and metallics. So did other Japanese makers but I'm biased to honda.
I've come across "judges" at shows that comment about my nice custom paint job. They just don't know about honda's paint schemes. Lol, I educate them. And that is an original paint from 1975, just shows the quality of honda back then....my opinion.
and, that 750 you found is, being a JDM in that condition, is unique.

Here is the keychain I will be using with my Honda CB750.  A miniature Japanese Robot quartz watch I found at a junk store. Where I live there are alot of resale shops that import containers of discarded household goods from Japan.  You never know what you might find when you go there. 

I also collect Seiko watches and in the photo with the Robot is  a very rare Seiko Silver Dial 6139 Automatic Chronograph

When I first bought the Robot keychain the watch was not working but I popped a tiny quartz battery in and the little guy fired right up and is keeping excellent time.

Nice but a warning to you about adding more than the single key to a lightweight fob, many have destroyed their ignition switch on many different bikes and vehicles by having extra keys and dodads that end up bouncing as you go down the road and the switch stops making contact at the worst of times......

Just reading your posts. What a lovely find! My K1 has always been my favourite ride! Are those pipes the original HM300’s? That brake pad hanging on the front is amusing! In that photo I noticed your steering lock is missing the tiny screw and cover. I may actually have one if you need it? Cheers from Canada.

P.S. As Stu suggests, don’t hang that watch from the key. In addition to risking the switch, it will beat itself to death on the frame tube……..

They also have a tendency to simply fall out over time as the hole for the key gets wider with bounces.

The brake pad hanging from the front is pure insanity. Perhaps put there to be used as a spare? Has it been hanging there for 50 years?   Pipes are stamped HM341.  From photos I was afraid they were rusted through with holes but only light surface rust on 1 pipe. Baffles are good. They sound AMAZING!

Today I will start the title transfer process.  Transferring a Title in Thailand is very easy and straightforward but with foreigners there are extra steps involved.  I have to go to Immigration and get a Certificate of Residency in order to transfer the title.  Right now it's High Season in Thailand with cooler weather and lower humidity.    Immigration will be very crowded with very long lines.  I would much rather be spending the day working on the bike instead of dealing with paperwork and government bureaucrats.

I looked at this Honda CB750 about 6 months ago.  Bike was recently imported from Japan with No Title but still had a High Price.  Getting a title to a bike is a bureaucratic nightmare and is just not worth the trouble or hassles involved and the process is very expensive.   Without a proper title and current registration the police can confiscate any bike on the road.    I really liked this bike but unfortunately I had to walk away.   I was a little surprised when the bike sold very quickly.

Those HM341 pipes will be newer than your K1. They are quieter than the HM300 and a bit more restrictive, but will be just fine. Bike looks great!
