Paint Color/Sheen Instruments

Anyone have a good spray can paint color/sheen recommendation for the black areas of my speedometer and tach? 1976 CB400F.  Thanks.

You want to use a semi gloss black.

New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

This stuff is a perfect match.  I used to use Krylon1613. It is no longer available for some reason. This stuff sprays nice and is UV resistant

Duplicolor DE 1635

The Engine designation is just "marketing" it is heat resistant.

the speedometer is NOS
the tach was a restoration.

IDK...yes?..Here's another angle for the NOS speedometer and repainted tach.
Then a pic of my bike with the original gauges. Of course, both frame and gauges are 50 years old. But frame looks glossier.....but the frame seems real close to the NOS speedo.....
Sorry, no pic comparison of the two.....guess I need to do that....

thanks jlh3rd...glad someone puts out the effort to keep some of these stock and original so everyone young and old can see and remember what they were like when new
