I rode my wing over to the dealer yesterday and picked up the set from them. $33.60.
Today I received in the mail the set I ordered from Toyota Wholesale Direct, which was $17.33 plus $10.77 shipping = $28.10 total.
I sold one of the headlights to my friend Pete for his Vetter on his K4. So I have 3 to put in my projects.

Stu….. Seems you guys are paying a bit more (or less) depending where you go. I still think they are a great deal and you will be pleased when you see the well controlled beam they fire down the road. I also like that fact they’re the same brand as the original sealed beam I found in the Sandcast!

I wonder how long before we clear Toyota’s shelves?

I just picked up two kits from https://toyotaparts.lakelandtoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-headlamp-assembly-8111060p70
Seems like everyone is marking up shipping costs, theirs is the lowest i could find. All of my local dealerships say its NLA.

This seems to be happening with the LED versions, too. I ordered one and got a message saying it would be here in 7 days. Then 2 days later it sent another one saying "Out of inventory". Another 2 days and it sent notice of a refund. No delivery date.

I call these "ghost parts". They showed up one time on the Internet and someone used one of the quick-and-dirty web apps to make a website showing something for sale, attaching the money part to their online bank account. There's millions of sites like them. :(
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

¿Could anyone having a connection to a distributor, dealership, manufacturer, or Toyota itself maybe look into what the exact difference(s) is(/are) between the ‘standard output’ and ‘high output’ versions of these headlamps (as well as their availability, part number(s), etc.?

Daniel Stern lists as having ‘high output’ versions on his website [hence why i ask]: https://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html

Using the part number originally quoted in the first post gets you a standard 60/55W bulb. P/n:  81110-60P70

On Koito’s catalog there’s only one 7” round H4 halogen headlamp. Koito also offers H4 bulbs in normal and high-power variants which is probably the difference.

We used to swap the rear turn lights to the later model front turn signals with a running light and a dual filament bulb, then make up a small jumper to run the turn signals as extra taillights, hence the red lenses. My brother still thinks it's mandatory so cars behind you can see you better.
The fronts still need to be amber. Yamiya sells the clear lenses that can have amber bulbs inside.

I have the Yamiya clear lenses front/back with amber lenses - work great and never failed an inspection here in Mass  8)

Hmm. If so, ¿then Why list Two separate variants on his products webpage?

Also; ¿What's the following from the ‘Koito’ website supposed to mean?
‘Please note that the bulb-replaceable halogen headlamp unit (HSSB) is a product that has only acquired the conventional equipment type designation (not UN parts certification), and therefore can only be used in passenger cars with 11 or more occupants and large special-purpose vehicles after October 1, 2014.’

Knew you would have Dave, just having a silly moment, but some people would do it on standard harness and wonder why it stopped working!

I just bought a set using the provided part number for $17.33 plus shipping for a total of $30.76 from toyota.oempartsonline.com

For the right-hand drive version, the lights I cann't find them except on non Toyota websites and singly, as others have written on the linked Australian forum.
