Venison tastes ... well, deery. I don't like it much at all. Same with goat too: too goaty.
Moose meat is quite excellent though.

We use the term "gamey" over here to describe what you are trying to say about the Venison. I have eaten crocodile on a few occasions now and it is one of the nicest meats i have ever eaten, very light coloured and sort of like chicken....very nice

saw 7-8 last night on way home from work.
they choose the most *%#&'d up escape routes!!!
i know this one. i ended up chasign one down a road in the sierras in my truck for about a 1/4 mile. at first it was slam on brakes . then slowly drive behind it.
then well it wont move outta the way to ill try to get dinner.
i guess it didnt like the sound of the turbo cause once it spooled it found the first closest thing to get outta there. almost a 70* rock face i was amazed.
guess who?

It must be the caveman in me because I happen to like the gamey taste of non-farmed animals. If you marinate venison for a few days and throw it on the grill, that's some good eating! Hmmm... I'm hungry now!

I find gamey meat always tastes better when eaten soon after death {of the beast ;D}. Kangaroo meat is also very lean and very nice to eat when fresh, taste gets stronger with age..

A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong.
