Quote from: ic455 on May 18, 2007, 06:47:35 PMSteven SeagalOh Man!! Thats one guy I cant stand to watch. All of his movies seam the same. Just when things can't get any worse, they do. He'll be hanging from a rope on a cliff, the rope will be rubbibg a rock and when he is about to crest the top of the cliff, the rope breaks ! He'll fall 60 feet and grab on to a branch sticking out the side of the cliff. He'll climb to the top of the cliff again only to fall on some loose rocks again. That same type of scenerio is repeated through out all his movies. To me, the same "it cant get any worse,OH NO!, IT DID" kind of starts to look like a really bad comedy. I'm always expecting him to crest the cliff only to step on a banana peel and start the whole process again.I'm sure he could easily kick my butt, though Daniel

Quote from: seaweb11 on May 20, 2007, 09:28:43 PMDude, that was Sylvester Stalone in "Cliff hanger" There's a Seagull movie where he was on a train ( I think some one was holding his daughter/ neice/ a female hostage) and somehow ended up on the side of cliff (I dont remember the title, " Death Train" maybe?) . I'm not a fan of Sly Stallone either. His movies have the same scenerio repeated also. I'm not much of an action movie fan. I'd rather watch a documentary on the production process of light bulbs, or the migratory habits of the Monarch Butterfly. Sounds dull, but ---- Oh, never mind Daniel

" How its made" was showing the toothpick making process opposite of it. Did you ever notice that "How its made" could often be called " The World most boring jobs" ? They show some people with real monotomous (sp?) jobs, like the woman who's job is to put socks on the vacuume thing to turn them right side out when they are done, one at a time. I'd go crazy with a job like that. I do like a good car chase movie though (more chase/less kick a$$). I like the ones from the 1960's and 70's the best. My kind of cars and era. Steve McQueen movies are always a good bet. The wife just picked up "Music and Lyrics" with Drew Barrymore/ Hugh Grant. Gonna be a dull evening. ZZZzzzzzDaniel
