time to lose the rearsets and clipons
« on: August 07, 2007, 01:40:43 PM »
well after a 30+ mile ride yesterday i've realized that i need to lose the 10 degree clipons and raask rearsets. my back and wrists and neck all hurt when i got home. time for some superbike bars and the original controls again.

Might know it, I'd have taken the bars myself. :-\  Ah well, someday, my time will come.

If the rearsets are for a CB750 "K" model, they won't fit on RM's "F". (or any "F", for that matter) Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey Terry,
I'm hoping their from his F and if not I can adapt since I already have that big
al plate on each side I can just drill it.

Email sent Fuzzy.

If they can't be adapted Shift I'll holler at you.

No worries mate, they're for a K as I suspected, so it'll test your engineering skills to make 'em fit your F, for sure. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Do you know if your seat will fit a 550k. Cause I might be interested.

Yea, they would if I made a plate to mount them to on the brake side.
But, they would be such an easy bolt up on the K I figure Derek could
get quicker use out of them.

I hate to say it, the 750 is getting neglected.
