starting to be unsure about the exhaust .. thinking i might get some slip-ons, or maybe scrap it and get a 2into1 kit

i'm either gonna swirl the chain guard or paint it, i can't decide witch would look better

i think the drag bars turned down is a much better look, and feels about the same

that just makes me laugh... i love it  ;D

Hi Spikey, how about a CL-350 style exhaust but 1 pipe on either side instead of both on the one side?

I too dig the fork leg fix.   :D

Questions:
That tank looks really cool, but I was wondering about putting the clear coat on.  How does that work painting a tank without primer?  Is there a special paint you're using, or just clear coat it and hope for the best?

The JB-Weld in the head... that's the second time I've seen someone do that.  I've never played with JB-Weld... is it that good?!  Seems like the head'll get pretty hot...

I like the chain guard!  Actually got me thinking about doing something similar to mine.  I might make a shorty guard out of aluminum or something....

i was gonna just get some engine enamel clear and make really thin coats , wet sanding between them ,  i've done it before

i made a coffee table for someone ,with the top of the table being all swirled , and the clearcoat held for about 2 or 3 years ...but that was a table that got used .....  i won't see anyone puttin a drink on my tank  ;D ;D

i have jb welded engine blocks before , i'm not worried about the heat , i'm worried about the tensile strength (the pipe pulling it's self off the head)

i was just gonna skip the chain guard, but where the passenger pegs are , i was thinkin the chain might pull in a pant leg or two ....and since one of those pant legs might be my boys....  chainguard  ;D

Why "engine enamel clear" ? Does it hold up better?

The autoshop up town has a shock (truck I believe) JB Welded to a stand with a handle on the top, you can push or pull with as much weight as you want.. Been that way for 2 years and its still JB'd to the stand..  ;D

it's more resistant to chemicals and has a higher temp rating ... i use it on everything ,, frame, sheet metal, fiberglass stuff  ... just kind of a "stick with what works" type thing

Like the tank Spikey.. That green one is pretty slick MJL..

Are you doing up one like the green one?

.: Scott :.
It's a possibility, I love the way it looks, and I just happened to have a cb100 gas tank fall into my lap the other day, that tank is an XR200 tank.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.
