Looks neat mate, get rid of the "broomstick" bars though, I'm sure you have no intention of keeping that aesthetic eye sore there any longer than you have to!

To correct you though, Carpy was there, "back in the day". He's from England, (the birthplace of the Cafe Racer) and he's the right age to have been a young "Ton Up Boy". (as ghey as that sounds............)

As far as going back to the 1970's to collect CB750s, unless you were gonna steal 'em, you're better off buying them now, because "back in the day", most of us couldn't afford one, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Unless Carpy is 50+ years old then he probably wasnt there when cafe bikes were around - late 50 - 60`s.....more likely hes around 40 years old making him about 3 years old at the time...

G'Day Andy, I'm 47 and saw plenty of "Cafe Racers" in England in 1974, (not to mention chopper-ised mopeds, but that's another story........) but Carpy is a tad older than me, from memory? He lived in Oz (here in Melbourne) before he moved to the US. Cheers, Terry. ;D

well, it sounds to me like those of you who have been cool enough to know about 'cafe racers' before everybody else will have to use your super-coolness to, once again, leap out in front of the rest of us 'posers' and spot the next authentically 'cool' thing before everybody else...
