out on the lash,

Translation?

Bob “out on the lash” is an expression from my part of the UK for going out to the pub for an extended period of drinking beer. I expect the people who live in other parts of the country have an expression they use for the same activity.

Merry Christmas Sam, hope you had a nice Crimbo.  I think I’d rather be working than be in my local pub spending money for the next week or so. :o well maybe not ;D

Merry Crimbo Malc, I think the “lash” thing is probably from the nautical side of my city and it happened if you got back to the boat late after a few beers ….slave trade day’s I would  think,  but I guess it’s stuck.

Merry Christmas to all from KY. Got a new ICON Accelernt "Stealth" jacket. All black - leather and mesh with removeable liner, elbow, shoulder pads. I think it's last years style, it doesn't have all the ICON advertising on it and the price was good. Also some nice leather gloves. Yea  ;D ;D ;D

Not me John, too much hair and way too skinny! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

here's the TS250 for you Terry, would have preferred earlier than 79 but beggars can't be choosers. she started right up, spewing lovely 2 stroke smoke everywhere ( I've had the bike upside down  for a month working on it) only problem was when I revved it the revs just kept on climbing.....that's when I found out the kill switch doesn't work, had to jam the front wheel against the house and kick her into gear, me poor old heart was pitter pattering hoping the rear wouldn't suddenly grip and send me skyward.

Hey very nice mate, same color and shape as the 185 mouldering in my garden. Hey my cousin has a really old TS250 in his shed, more like 1969, I think? We were gonna sell it on EBay a couple of years ago (I sell his stuff as he doesn't like computers) but I think he still has it? I'm ging to his place tomorrow for New Years Eve, if it's still there, I'll take a pic for you! Cheers, Terry. ;D
