Yes, I know I do.

Zero degrees outside. Blowing snow with more in the forecast. No warmer weather predicted for weeks. And with that little fury animal in Pennsylvania seeing his shadow I am getting really depressed!

Yes.  Hopefully the weather will warm up a bit in the next few weeks.  It's even to cold in the garage to work on the bike right now.  The high was 0 yesterday and it is -4 right now...but it is supposed to get up to 13 sometime (it's a heatwave!).

We have had the most glorious early Feb in the South UK. Sunday it hit 17 degrees. I went on a Triumph ride-out to the coast. Fabulous weather, loads of bikes out on the roads - still gets dark by 5:30 though...

Average temp for UK in early Feb is about 7 degrees.

Are we going to have another "summer of '76"?

Anyone else in the UK remember it?

I'm right there with you! I spent the weekend throwing wood in the boiler and hiding in the house when I wanted to be out in the shop getting bikes ready to sell in the spring. Unfortunately when it's below zero I can only get the shop up to 30 deg. so it's not very appealing to be working out there. Winter is almost over, right? :'(

Parked Motorcycle Syndrome    ;D

David

Hailing from Utah...it's been as low as 10 degrees so far this year riding to work.
My first ride of the year was jan. 17th? somewhere in there...

Unfortunately it has been sporadic riding weather... Gotta wait until the snow is off the roads at least...
No need for another 5 mile terror ride in the snow...

Good thing it was nice 3 days last week!!!

took mine out for a spin this weekend.  ;D me and my friend frank ran into some random dude on a hyosung, who wanted to tag along. when we took off, he almost flipped backwards in a wheelie.  ::) on the last stretch, there is about a mile of really wide, slightly winding road with no traffic that i always wind it up on. i rounded the corner, tucked in and opened her up. at the next stop, he pulls up to me and says, "man that little 550 is fast! I couldn't catch up to you until i heard you let up on the throttle at the end!"

felt good blowing the dust off the bike, let alone burning a squid on his crappy streetfighter.  8)

Yes I remember the summer of '76 too, went on holiday to Tenby, the weather was poor that week, it picked up again when we returned home. Didn't last year start mild like this and we know what a summer we had.

Managed my first ride of the year on sunday afternoon.

Watched the TV news today--

36 car pile-up in Greece, NY which is where my in-laws live.4 hours north. Low visibility- blowing snow.

Next story-

70 car pile-up in Hazleton, PA maybe 10 miles from here. Low visibility- blowing snow.

One bike in storage, one in pieces and thankful for it this time of year. :)

I hear ya legendary.

I was going to sneak some shop time in this evening but it's too damned cold.  I can't drink slushy beer and beer would be slush within 20 minutes out in the garage.

I've seen 72 inches of snow so far this year, and they're forecasting another 12 inches by the end of the week.  I'm running out of places to put it.

Bring on spring!

I hear that Uncrash.

I moved to NE PA from just north of Syracuse NY. Here 60" of snow is a terrible year! (according to the natives)

In Syracuse it was: wake up, shovel out, go to work, come home shovel yourself in. Wake up shovel out, go to work....

after 7 or 8 days it would reduce a grown man to tears!!!!   (or so they tell me)

You ain't seen snow until you have to shovel out your mailbox.... ;D ;D ;D
