My bike sold and it's going to Australia (NSW).

It wasnt 2 hrs later that I was searching the classifieds for another one. My wife tells me I'm goofball.

Wow, thats a great looking bike and a really tough decision to make in selling her. What is it that you're making room for? It must be a cool and passionate project to justify letting the CB go. I really enjoyed your thread, awesome job!

Thanks. I'm kinda having sellers remorse, but I'm sure it'll pass when I put something new in the garage. Looking that perfect (to me) 1968 Ford Mustang. Think I might have found a couple to fit the bill, but I need to go look them over first.

Man, you can find anything online. I bought a 550 and its been the best. Parts aren't too difficult to find, you just need the right websites. Maybe I'm just in love with the CB550s. If you decide to buy one shoot me a PM and ill send you all the websites that I use. Check out my build http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=67122.0 and see how she's comin.

Looking good chronic ... love the color you went with.

This is what I ended up getting to fill the void of the CB being sold. A 1968 GT coupe.



We still have the 72' I rebuilt for my wife last year (plus a couple Bonnies and a Kawa KLX). I rode the 72' the other day. Wonderful ride, great weather, what more could you ask for? Got home and realized the headlight wasnt working - pulled the light and found most of the wiring had melted itself into one big azz ball of Goo. Yeah! The joys of ownership.

Bonafide, it's official - I've got toy envy!  Not only does the 750 look super nice, but you just picked up my birth year Mustang.  Both look great.  Tell your wife, if you haven't already, she's a catch.

Transport company called - they'll be by this weekend to pick up the bike for it's journey to NSW Australia.
Took her out of storage, washed/waxed, and down the road for one last ride ...

Very Nice....

I finally got over to the newbonnevilleriders forum a little bit ago.... Helped me with some questions on valve shim replacement on my Bonnie...  Thanks for pointing me in that direction earlier in the thread.

Cool Joe ... glad you found it.

Transport driver called this morning to pick up the SS. Gave him an empty parking lot for a meet up and rode the old girl one last time. Crisp cool morning air, open exhaust, and a couple good twisting/wringing of the throttle thru city streets will draw attention. :)



Going ... going ... gone.



On to the next project SOHC ...
