Here are a few bikes that I am drawing inspiration from in my Bobber build.... Like little things here and there on both of them.

You really can't go wrong with following the Venice Choppers styling....  I really like his bikes.

Meh.. there are so many things that just dont sit right with me on that bike. Overall its a great bike but the seat and tank dont flow well, the exhaust under the seat clutters the triangle up and if your going to put modern suspension on the front and a set of cool wheels do something about that toothpick swingarm. Besides that.. i can appreciate the skill i takes to make a bike look like that.

"Nice one" is an understatement!
It's an absolute gem .... IMO  :)
It was built by Grant Salter & Jesse Greening from Cafe Fabrications.
Here's the build blog -> http://cafefabrications.blogspot.com/

BUT, even they can't tell you how much it cost.
They reckon they didn't tally up the money spent on purpose as it wasn't meant to be a budget build.

I'll bet is was a #$%*load more than most of us can afford to pour into our projects.

Here's a nice one.... ;)

i love all the machined stuff (wheels, engine covers, velocity stacks, etc) .... but i really hate that exhaust, the concept is good , but the execution is a little less then desirable  IMO

I have to agree. I think I would have made sidecovers to cover the triangle. The exhaust is cool. But it just doesn't look right

I would have the pipes exiting lower, like an MV F4, and put the tank above it in the tail. I might also rote them under the engine and come up the back, like a Ducati. Those pipes just look wrong without a scrambler style hi-pipe.

I think the problem is that its wrapped. If it was a nice shinny pipe it would look good but now it just looks like some old sewage pipe running to the back of the bike.

Its interesting as an exercize. But the hot shins turns me off. And I know you can get the ground clearance witha Bold'or style routing, with a lower CG.
