I've been tinkering in the back of my mind for a long time on a full size, small bore cafe bike.... anyone have any more that fit this category?  Bobbers too please.

OK, a clear Italian theme; I'm not sure if I'm treading into moped territory but they're cool I think.

I think is is for a pocket bike

This Motor should fit the following models:
Note: This is not a guarantee, if you are unsure, please check with your local dealer.
HONDA CRF50 / CRF70 / XR50 / XR70 / Z50 / Z50R / CT70 Mini Trail / Z50 / Minitrail Monkey / XL70 ST70 / QA50 / QR50 / CL70 / SL70 / 70 Passport / ST 90K2 / ST 90K1 / CS 90 / SL 90 / ZB 50 /

As if any local dealer in the USA will have anything else to say except that the federal government doesn't let them sell those bikes anymore...but they've got a warehouse full of them.

Aren't most pocket bikes 2 stroke?  this is a four stroke, four speed.

All the ones I had were, but they have evolved into a 4 stroke thumper type 125cc POS. at least in the main streem. I think you can still get a single speed ducati type italian job that will do 90 those are still 2 stroke.

That's pretty good Ben, is that stock?  I wonder what it'll make when you're done tuning and modding?  Honda has the CBR125 (not in the US yet...if ever) it's a water cooled, catalysed exhaust, fuel injected single, with a six speed that makes....as I've read.....22hp.  not too shabby for a 125 with plenty of aftermarket support.
We just don't see or hear about most of the really good bikes here in the US, so you're one up on many of us already.

Oh, oh... look what I found!

http://www.aermacchi-racing.com/

I sent those guys and email and this is part of what I got.

"All kitis are still available , only for the Drixton we make a new design at the moment
It will be ready in 07-08 this year"

I'm very tempted to ask how much they are. They don't come with a title though so some create paper work would be in order to ride them on the street.

Maybe you could request that they use a neck that you provide?? We used to do that.

Yea, just cut it off a donor frame and ship it to them.

Maybe clean it up first on a lathe. We used to do that all the time.
