Sorry for the delay in posting. Current status which needs work for completion:
exhaust cleanup - for initial running,, must decide on new purchase
gauge cleanup - a few dents from PO, then a few wire connections
chain install - need master link tool
center and side stand install - both are powder coated
 side cover patch and repaint

Yesterday I discovered that the oil tank hoses should be positioned and then tightened onto the oil tank before routing them between the frame and engine. I had the rear fender, rear tire and oil catch installed and therefore could not get a wrench on the fittings when the hoses were installed on the engine at first.  Secondly, I was cleaning up the exhausts and got down to the 4th pipe. I cut a 1/2" square rust area out of the bottom, then cut the patch piece.. ready to weld up. Then I decided to hold the scrap left over piece and clean up the edges from the cuts. The angle grinder caught the piece and spun it into my hand ,, which resulted in 3 minor cuts on my left hand.. So no work for a few days.

Here is my m-unit blue wiring file made from paint.net... colors and some wiring are not accurate at the moment.. I will update it soon, but this was the plan before the wiring effort.. mostly correct.  I will post some new photo or two later from my iphone.

A note about the brake pedal: in the F0/1 and some (not all) of the F2/K7 bikes, there is an aluminum bushing in the frame's hole for the brake pedal's pivot. Some 12 years ago I restored an F0 bike which had seized this (and a K7 I was restoring for someone), and removing the seized brake arm split the bushing. I made up some out of bronze I had on hand just then: if yours has one and it is broken, let me know, you can have one of these for postage. ;)
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
