Ger a solid 4 is way too much oil. Usually after an oil change 3 quarts is more than enough. You have way too much oil in your bike. Drain now before you blow some more oil seals all over your engine. No joke!
I did have a minor oil leak when I started the engine and lost, what I thought was only a tiny bit, oil. I didn't match up the filter cover correctly and it didn't sit flush to the engine.
My stick reading's sitting a little above halfway... The tube in back is old, a little squashed by the ties attaching it to the frame, but no kinks or plugs that I can see. It'll have to wait until next week for me to pull the tube and inspect it. Getting ready to play weekend warrior.

The current seal on the cap is not good and needs replacing ASAP. As a minor, quick fix, I turned the seal around so the indentation on is on the other side.
All the sites that I read the specs about the 750 on said the tank was 4.75. On atleast 4 different sites. Maybe they're talking about a different year....
