Lucky you! Mine were $2k and I'm only 50 miles from where they were made....but then Arrow rods are properly engineered  ;)

Ha ha, for 2K they'd want to be not only "properly engineered", but personally hand delivered by beautiful Japanese Geisha girls who'll gently apply scented massage oils directly to your bum hole, to help repair the damage done where Arrow well and truly fcuked you! ;D

Hi - has the chat stopped? I need some tough rods. Carillo's @ $1199 or Crower @ $899? I am building a 90+BHP engine. Has anybody used the Ape/Crower rods? Cheers, Phil

This thread was to arrange a group discount buy of the first run of APE CROWER rods. Since that run is done and sold, the thread is quiet. I am an owner of the rods, but my engine is not running yet. They should be strong enough for 400hp per APE owner BigJay. I had APE install them for me on their APEracecrank. (My crank their work), excellent service.

Phil;
We can send you a set of Crowers today.   You can put a turbo and some nitrous on top of that 90+ HP, and still be way safe with these rods.

One of the reasons I want a cb750...
There are STILL aftermarket suppliers for them!! 

Too bad the 650 wasn't more popular back in the day.
