Well I bought this scoot about two years back, it was pretty much all stock and as they say "good from a far, but far from good". Rode her for a while with the only change being new pipes as the old ones were pretty much chrome covered rust. Here she is the day I got it.
Staring at the scratches and dents on the tank drove me to repaint the tank, I debadged and filled before painting the tank and side covers black. It then made it's on stage debut when I lent it to a production of We Will Rock You, the Queen Musical.
After getting it back, I managed to snap the cam chain tensioner, finding out the only way to replace it was tearing the motor down to the head gasket I starting ripping into the motor
While I was in there I replaced most of the gaskets and seals, pulled the side covers off etc.
At this point the project started snowballing, I figured if the motor was already tore up and clean I should paint it. After seeing how nice the motor looked it would have been a crime to throw it back into the rusty beat up frame so I ground off the rear pegs, cleaned the frame up and repainted it.

Before I cleaned this thing up the whole thing was brown and caked with grease, dirt and god knows what else.
I then decided that I didn't like the rear tail light or rear fender, so out came the grinder, off they went. The tail light was replaced with a cateye tail light and the turn signals were replaced with little guys.
Here it is as of now, pretty much done, the bars were replaced with shorter bars, K&N filter pods were thrown on, re-tuned, lowering blocks on the rear. I still want to swap the mirror our with some bar end mirrors but we'll see.
