Maybe after I get some more experience under my belt -- still earning my stripes, and my brakes need servicing.  Go tear it up.

Wish I lived there. Visited San Clemente a few times and been on that
road, but not on the bike. The view from the lookout is awesome. Someday.......

Wish I had seen this post yesterday morning.  I might have talked my way into going and leaving my wife with the 6 kids.  I would have been on my '04 Sportster though as I have not got either of my 2 CB's running yet.

A ride worth leaving your wife and kids for, now that is some ride!

Leave permenently?  Hmmm..... I could live on Ortega up in the mountains somewhere... ::)

It is a nice ride, I have done it alone several times and two-up with my wife a couple of times.  She works in Irvine and so I have taken her to work on the Sportster.

Yea, maybe.  If we can line up someone to watch the youngest, my wife and I might go up Sunday coming from the east.

I left California to go back home to Minnesota... why? Why did I do that?

I used to live in San Clemente and Murrieta.... good times out there on the Big O Highway...

That's ok there is four or five guys here in MO maybe we can score sucha think for us here, ride down to Lamberts in springfield and get some throwd rolls and extra fixun's and get fat. If ya haven't heard of Lambert's they have great home cookin' style food (fried chicken) and the extra fixuns are servers that carry around huge bowls of fried okra, stuffing, corn, greens beans with onions and bacon, oh yeah and the throwd rolls ther throw at you from across the rom whe you call for one  ;D ;D ;D
