while working today on a customers car he was asking me what was getting me down (sorry havent been around for a few days i had to serve on a jury panel for tue and wed) and i told him what was going on with vic and how i posted a msg on the HARLEY forum thinking they would be more than willing to help me out with a fellow harley owner and how i got totally blasted.

at any rate i did the job cheap (tune up on a 88 jeep cheerokee 4.0) $100 labor and he said what they heck dave i'll give you $20 twards your friends bike and i will donate a 91 ford arostar awd van too him as well (he has a 93 that needs some parts) to 2up for day i got an extra $20 twards the tires...

i called vic today and told him that i had some of the parts and $$ to get his bike going and he just about fell over he is getting his bike out to get it ready i will take pictures and post here since you guys seem to be my friends and a much better "family" than the harley guys i was very appolled about thier rudeness!

yah, if the thread hasn't been deleted by the mods there, please delete it... I think they're still blasting it, at least they were last time I looked.

this all got started by myself when i seen a thing on opra ( i know opra is gay) she gave everyone in her audience a $1000 visa card to "pay it foward" some of the people turned the 1k gift card into a HUGE amount i think even in this ruough echonomic times we can still help our fellow people. i dont watch opra ever but the comercials really struck my attention...

like i said on tuesday and wedsday i had jury duty i got to thinking on how much money i lost (i only got paid milage .34 mile on tuesday ONE WAY and same for wed and a wopping $15 for wed) then it hit me what a privilidge we have in the country to put our trust in the legal system and have a feeling that OUR case in court can be heard by a group of 12 of our peers to decide our case and not some BIAS judge (not to say that all judges are bias) its a right in this country that i think we should be more greatful for! so even though i missed some work (i'm self employed) i'm excited i got to "help" out!

Sounds like a worthy cause to me...speaking as a cancer survivor (2001), and one who was encouraged by eVo along the way, myself!

Getting back on my 750 after 4+ years of not being able to ride changed my whole outlook! Meds and surgery can't do much for the inner attitude, but prayer and faithful, helpful people, and the bike sure did!
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

The demons are repulsed when a man does good. Use that.
Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

I think I made a good choice for my 1st fourm!

Excuse the over used phrase but, Kitsune, you kick ass!

You too EvO for lookin' out for a friend.

Hey Evo, you never said (or I missed it) if cancer or lung prob. (Kit refered poss. lung prob.)
If it's lung problems, I deal with a group, PSI (paitient services inc.) that help me out with my bills and meds.

let me know if you need info.

Best Whished to ALL

Hi guys, the exchange rate makes any donation from Australia just about worthless, but i will give a bit of advice. I had a liver transplant 10 years ago and the one main difference in lasting long enough to get the transplant and in my speedy recovery was my mental approach. Stay strong and be as positive as you can my friend because a good frame of mind will get you way further down the line than the "doom and gloom" approach, i spent 12 months extremely ill in hospital waiting for my transplant and watched people give up the fight and pass within days. We all have a good fight in us and now is a good time to use it, stay strong..
