First ride on, new to me 1974. 30 miles, longest trip the bike had made in 20 years, ran like brand new….
Welcome aboard the forum Hudson Jo from southern NH (but currently on a late season ride about on my goldwing in Dallas)
That isca great looking K4. I have a friend in NH that still has his K4 he bought new in 74 that I work on to keep it running properly for him. In 2023 I did some extensive work on it cleaning the carbs and tank out, patching holes in the original mufflers, full 3,000 mile tune-up, tires, and more as it had 56,000 miles on it then. I had the Windjammer off and took it to our local bike night for a test ride.

Go to the new members section and introduce yourself and your bike to us, as to your story and the bike's story. We like pictures too!

BenelliSEI, that's a real nice one. I'm still riding this K4.  Just regular maintenance 35K miles cloudy in Portland, Oregon

Did you build a 4 valve per cylinder head for it?

A few photos from the ride up to Bonneville Point that I didn't use in the other thread.  The 750 scoffs at rough roads.

My son installed a set of mild Kenda “dual sport” tire o our K3 and it’s really very good in gravel and dirt…… Sand, not so much!

The BT46 rear tire I put on works pretty well, too.  Fairly deep tread.

Greg, love your blue skies, red bike, no clutter in photos.

Thanks, Kevin.

That cb750K1 reminds me why mine is my “favourite”. Sweet!
